Lazy mornings and sleepy afternoons are real productivity killers in the workplace. When the energy dies down and you lay exhausted over your desk, don't grab your coffee as soon as you lift your head up! Reclaim concentration and ability to focus with increasing your energy in the following ways:
1. Briefly talk on the phone with someone close.
It is enough to talk a few minutes with loved ones, children and faithful friends for you to reduce stress, improve your mood and get new powers to get through work. Call someone for no reason and the conversation will act as an energy bomb.
2.Straighten the spine.
When our energy is low, we automatically sink into our chair. But sitting hunched also wears down the muscles; it does not allow the lungs to supply the body with the maximum amount of oxygen and can cause headaches. Proper upright seating helps to increase energy and brain activity.
3.Listen to cheerful music.
If possible, play a song that speeds up your heart and evoke beautiful emotions (e.g. summer hits). Improved mood will recover the enthusiasm and motivation to stay active.
4. Drink a glass of cold water.
Put ice cubes in the water and empty the cup. Dehydration is a common and sneaky thief of energy. The low temperature of the water will awaken the body and focus the mind.
5. Share a joke or funny video with colleagues.
Group laughter will brighten the mood to eliminate stress and increase you energy levels. Studies show that short fun activities during working time actually increases employee productivity (These include short visits to social networks) .
6. Change your attitude.
If you move around the office complaining how tired you are, you look tired and subconsciously you will further reduce your energy. Do not give up at the first signs of fatigue. Stay active and positive.
